Am Afifi

My art reflects my attitude to life and contains solemn and philosophical expressions counterbalanced by joyful and hedonistic imagery. Sculpture is a natural ability enjoyed by most people. My ambition is to make sculpture more accessible to greater numbers through exhibitions and workshops. There I share my knowledge and techniques with other artists and act as facilitator to novices. Offering digitally animated sculpture combined with music and poetry as well as working in reclaimed materials allows me to offer work inexpensively thus enabling more people to acquire and enjoy this wonderful artform.
