Some of my work is based on the human form ,themes tend to be : fertility ,motherhood ,male and female bond . my ideas are carved in local stones;Polyphant, Portland,Bath ,Beerand more recently alabaster .Scale varies from small indoor pieces to site specific outdoor sculptures. Recent works directly carved in stone lean more towards organic abstract forms these peices are often inspired by nature. I am available for commisions and run informal classes in sculpture from my Ashburton studio.
