Angela Holmes My personal work and passion is stone carving. Using Cornish and Dorset stones I create fluid forms which invite tactile journeys. Although not directly figurative, the pieces explore varied moods and qualities: poise, protection, expectancy, inspiration, dialogue and expansion. The sculptures aim to be housed in dwellings and landscapes where they can stand with quiet presence and dignity, addressing the contemplative nature of the viewer. |
